WiseTrack ("WiseTrack," "we," "us," or "our") provides an app for tracking personal and business expenses by scanning receipts and analyzing spending. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using WiseTrack, you agree to this policy.
Account information. When you sign in with Apple or Google, we receive your name and email address to create and secure your account. We never see or store your Apple or Google password.
Receipt and financial data. When you scan or add a receipt, we collect the information you capture or that our AI extracts — such as merchant name, amounts, dates, and whether the entry is income or an expense. Receipt images are stored locally on your device. Receipt details (metadata) are synced to our secure cloud so you can access them across devices.
Voice input. If you use voice entry, your device's speech recognition converts your speech to text so we can create a receipt entry from it.
Usage and analytics data. We collect anonymized, aggregated information about how the app is used (for example, which features are opened and general performance data) to improve WiseTrack.
Subscription data. If you purchase a subscription, the transaction is processed by Apple. We receive your subscription status (active, expired, etc.) but never your full payment-card details.
Device permissions. With your permission, we access your camera and photo library to capture receipts, and your microphone for voice entry. You can change these permissions at any time in your device settings.
Website visitors and advertising. Our website uses the Meta (Facebook) Pixel, a cookie-based analytics and advertising tool. It collects information such as the pages you visit, the buttons you click, and standard device information, and shares it with Meta so we can measure the effectiveness of our advertising and reach people likely to be interested in WiseTrack. You can learn how Meta uses this data at facebook.com/privacy, and manage your ad preferences at facebook.com/adpreferences. You can also limit cookie-based tracking through your browser settings.
We do not sell your personal information.
We share information only with service providers that help us operate WiseTrack, and only as needed to provide the service:
We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect our rights or users' safety, or in connection with a business transfer. Each provider handles data under its own privacy and security commitments.
Receipt images are kept locally on your device. Account and receipt metadata are stored on secure cloud infrastructure protected with industry-standard encryption in transit and at rest. While no method of storage or transmission is 100% secure, we take reasonable measures to protect your information.
We keep your information for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account or ask us to delete your data, we will remove your personal information from our systems, except where we are required to retain it by law.
Depending on where you live (for example, the EEA, UK, or California), you may have additional rights such as access, correction, deletion, and the right to object to certain processing. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at the email below.
WiseTrack is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your country), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
Your information may be processed and stored in countries other than your own, including the United States, where data protection laws may differ. By using WiseTrack, you consent to this transfer.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Effective date" above and, where appropriate, notify you in the app. Your continued use of WiseTrack after changes take effect means you accept the updated policy.
